Just Harriet (Book #1)

Meet Harriet Wermer, a spirited third-grader with a perfect cat named Matzo Ball and a talent for bending the truth. When summer vacation whisks her away to Marble Island—where her nanu runs a charming bed and breakfast off the California coast—Harriet discovers that getting away from home isn't quite what she expected. From the award-winning author of A Boy Called Bat comes an unforgettable new middle grade series in the tradition of Ramona and Clementine. Packed with humor, heart, and the delightful chaos of growing up, Just Harriet invites readers into a world of summer adventures, unexpected friendships, and the messy, wonderful journey of being yourself.
