Hippopotamus

With its huge body, broad snout and thick skin, the massive hippopotamus looks quite impressive. Although it is so massive, it is surprisingly manoeuvrable in the water. It also feels most at home there. During the day, it rests in the cool river; at night it trudges leisurely to the next meadow to graze. Perfect for collectors and imaginative play, this detailed Schleich figure captures the distinctive features of one of nature's most powerful animals. Ideal for building wildlife scenes and learning about African habitats.
