72079 The Last Supper Panoramic 1000 Piece Puzzle

In the refectory hall of a small convent in Milan, Italy exists one of the world's greatest masterpieces. Painted in the late 15th century by Leonardo DaVinci, The Last Supper mural was intended to bring inspiration to the members of the order who viewed it daily and serve as a reaffirmation of their holy vows. However, the centuries were not kind to this mural. The colors had faded, and the walls were chipped and cracked from many failed restorations. The painting even survived bombings during World War II. From 1978 to 1999, using modern technology, the mural was meticulously restored to its present state. Create a lasting testament of the ultimate sacrifice in your home with this 1000-piece The Last Supper panoramic puzzle by artist William T. Ternay, who interprets the DaVinci masterwork in this beautifully painted puzzle. His colorful version captures all the emotion of the moment when Christ dined with his Apostles one final time before his crucifixion. To reduce its impact on our environment, the chipboard used in this puzzle is made of recycled material. Assembled puzzle measures approximately 39 x 13 inches. Recommended for 1 or more players, ages 14+. Contents include: 1000 Puzzle Pieces
