Takenoko Board Game

A board game for two to four players by renowned designer Antoine Bauza, Takenoko allows you to work the bamboo plantations and care for the Emperor's panda yourself. Colorful miniatures for the giant panda and the Emperor's gardener suit the game's light-spirited tone, and these figures will be critical to your designs to grow the most beautiful bamboo stands. Takenoko includes more than four dozen plastic bamboo sections and twenty-eight beautifully illustrated garden plots, which combine to create a unique garden in every game! A GARDENING ADVENTURE: Immerse yourself in the delightful world of Takenoko, where you step into the role of gardeners tending to the Emperor's Giant Panda and cultivating a vibrant bamboo plantation. PANDA-MONIUM: Face the whimsical challenges of a mischievous panda who can't resist munching on your precious bamboo! Can you strategically grow bamboo while keeping the panda's appetite in check? STRATEGIC GAMEPLAY: Plan your moves carefully. Farm and irrigate land parcels, nurturing green, yellow, and pink bamboo varieties. Choose from various actions, including expanding your bamboo fields or completing objective cards. WEATHER THE ELEMENTS: Adapt to changing weather conditions that impact your gardening efforts. Will you thrive under the sun's rays or benefit from a refreshing rain shower? The unpredictable weather adds depth to your strategy. COMPETE FOR VICTORY: Compete with fellow gardeners to earn points by completing your objectives. The player who masterfully tends to their bamboo plantation and achieves the most points will be crowned the ultimate gardener!
