Magnetic Sand Timer

Tip the hourglass and watch the "sand" create amazing designs. Lovely to look at, the Magnetic Sand Timer makes instant magnetic sand sculptures! How does it work? The glass hourglass is filled with tiny iron filings which are attracted to the magnet in the metal base. What starts out as craggy configurations eventually turns into a spiky surfaced hemisphere. Turn it over again and again! High-quality glass globes and metal base in handsome gift box.
