Write Your Own Family History

Create a family history journal to treasure. What was school like for Grandma? What was your Great Uncle's first job? What can we find out from old photos, documents and objects? This intergenerational write-in guided journal encourages young history detectives to discover more about the people, places and significant events within their own locality and family. It also provides a compact way for them to record all their findings. There are suggestions for questions to ask older members of the community and ideas for topics to explore from toys and games to clothes, hairstyles, food, transport and holidays in order to find out just how much things have changed within living memory. Perfect family time activity for all generations to share.
