UGears Mechanical Aquarium Model Kit

Two fish dance around their algae friend in this wooden DIY aquarium modeling experience. Assemble then watch them swim! As you build the 325-piece wooden aquarium, you will learn about the action and interplay of drive gears, the function of pendulums, and about spring-action mechanisms. Everything you need for this fun DIY project comes right in the box: high-quality plywood boards with precision laser-cut pieces that you snap out then snap together, the metal spring that powers the mechanism, and of course a set of detailed, illustrated instructions. No need for glue or special tools. After you're finished building your model, just switch it to swim mode and set things into motion by turning the knob on the bottom. See the fish move their heads and tails side-to-side as they go around and around. Rated at a "medium" level, this STEM delight has an estimated assembly time of 6 hours.
