Millie and the Midnight Hedgehog

A modern environmental fairytale from celebrated illustrator Bernadette Watts about connecting to nature and discovering joy and hope in plants and animals. Millie's parents care a lot about the Planet. In fact, sometimes they are so busy that Millie passes lonely hours admiring Mrs. Periwinkle's wonderful garden. One day, she gives Millie three potted plants. As they grow, so does Millie's joy—until one night a dreadful storm threatens to knock the pots all over! Can Millie overcome her fear of thunderstorms to show the earth how much she cares, too? A lovely tale of how Mother Nature—and a little hedgehog—can bring us all together. For Ages 4 and up.
