Glade of the Evil Oak

Can you cut down this twisted terror, or will you end up as fertiliser? Deep in the heart of this corrupted forest, the Evil Oak awaits you in the gloom. Will you be ready? Deep in the heart of the forest, there is a glade with a solitary tree at its centre. You may picture a sunny scene laced with birdsong. But this is no sunlight dappled clearing, and the tree no mere sapling. It is a twisted oak of monstrous proportions. A gnarled hand thrust from the earth, claw-like branches grasping as if to tear down the sky. A tree so corrupted by forces beyond mortal understanding, few who lay eyes on it live to tell the tale. Yet, rumours persist, shaken from shivering leaves and carried on a gloomy breeze to prickle at the skin of storytellers hunched around fires — weaving tales of wicked oak that stands sentinel over the abyss, and the souls brave enough to cleave it limb from limb… Weave tales of wicked oak in this epic tabletop roleplaying adventure for D&D 5e.
