You lived much of your life carrying both an axe and a hammer. Both were useful tools, neither interchangeable for their particular task. You wouldn't use a hammer to chop through foes, nor would you use an axe when you wanted to ring a fellow's helmet. That's why the Haxe is your favorite new weapon in the world. You save space on your belt and can easily switch from axe to hammer in one swing! It's the best of both worlds. DETAILS Epic Armoury's Haxe is a deadly 85 cm axe designed for a cunning fighter. It has a 16 cm long axe-blade and an opposite hammerhead for the most effective fight against armour. The head is hand painted to look like real metal embellished with engraved crosses, and it is made of safe, soft foam. The bladed head attaches to the shaft which is hand painted and sculpted to look like matching, ridged metal. The 12 cm grip at the end of the Haxe is wrapped in suede leather for appearance and comfort. Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid 10 mm fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, your new LARP axe will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your Sovereign kit. HISTORY The first hafted axe was created about 6,000 B.C. using birch-tar and raw-hide lashings to fix the blade to its handle Many battle axes doubled as tools and were cheaper to make than swords
