Kenojuak Ashevak 2027 Wall Calendar

Kenojuak Ashevak is widely considered a Canadian national treasure. She was a groundbreaking artist for Kinngait Studios, in the Arctic territory of Nunavut, and ultimately a pioneer of modern Inuit art. After establishing her reputation in 1960 with The Enchanted Owl—an image so popular it was reproduced on a Canadian postage stamp—she worked nearly nonstop. She contributed to Kinngait's print collection almost every year and completed countless special commissions. Ashevak loved to make pictures of birds, particularly owls. Reflecting on her art, she said, “I am the light of happiness, and I am a dancing owl.” Plastic-free, flap-and-seal packaging 12 monthly grids and full-color artwork High-quality printing with soy-based inks on premium, environmentally sourced paper stock Exceptional color quality Grid pages are easy to write on Features US, Canadian, and United Kingdom legal holidays Perfect for hanging at home or over an office desk Pomegranate's calendars feature exclusive selections of art from museums and artists around the world Size: 12 x 12 x .125 in.
