Safavid Splendor Journal

Elegant journal pays homage to a design that once adorned a Qur'an, most likely from the city of Herat, circa 1580. Art and architecture flourished during Iran's Safavid dynasty, especially the art of making books. Inside, ample space is provided for personal reflection, sketching, or capturing favorite quotations or poems. Premium smooth-finish 120 gsm paper accepts pen or pencil beautifully. Light gray lines subtly guide your writing. Paper is acid-free and of archival quality, preserving your thoughts for years to come. Our cover design is embossed and embellished with hand-selected touches of gold foil. An added touch: The journal's page edges are gilded in gold foil. For practicality, you'll find an expandable pocket inside the back cover; it's the perfect place to tuck notes, mementos, and more. Use the matching elastic closure to secure your journal. Interior endsheets complement the overall design. Sturdy book bound-style binding ensures durability. Convenient small-format size, 5'' wide x 7'' high, slips effortlessly into most bags and backpacks. 160 pages.
