Rain Stick

Tip the rain stick and listen as the tiny beads tumble slowly through the chamber with the gentle patter of a passing shower. Turn it over when the “storm” reaches the bottom, and the forecast immediately calls for rain again. Everything needed for the sound is enclosed inside one easy-to-hold instrument, with no batteries or loose pieces to manage. It works nicely for quiet sound exploration, music time, or a calming little pause that is much tidier than bringing an actual cloud indoors.
