Large Rainbow Pom Pom Felt Balls

Give children a tactile, visually interesting loose parts resource with our Large Pom Pom Rainbow Felt Balls. Versatile and open-ended, these are just as at home in a small world play set up as they are in EYFS maths activities, fine motor activities in the finger gym, STEAM play and beyond. A great set which is sure to be used across the curriculum and for many years to come! We love our large felt balls for many reasons, but a particularly brilliant use of them is in STEAM activities. From maths activities like counting, one to one correspondence, subitising and sequencing to sorting and pattern making, these have multiple uses. Then, add them to ramps and galleys and explore cause and effect! Play doesn't have to have a set outcome, of course. Our rainbow felt balls are wonderfully open-ended so lend themselves to all sorts of imaginative play scenarios. Why not add them into your small world play where they become fairy food, snowballs, flowers and more, or use them in transient art set ups or your finger gym? Perhaps these become money, play food or gems in your role play area? The list goes on - as is the beauty of a versatile resource! Features Set of 35 felt balls in seven rainbow colours, 5 in each colour: great for pattern making. Larger size at 4cm diameter: great for younger children and for those practising their pincer grip. Tactile and cosy: a lovely resource to keep up the hygge vibe of your setting and great for sensory play. Good sized set: enough for individual play or to use in a group.
