Pattern and Play Peacock

This beautifully crafted FSC wooden Peacock features 22 chunky inset pieces that form a vibrant tail fan. Three sizes of feather pieces come in seven colours, each with three shades, perfect for teaching colour recognition as well as boosting fine motor and early maths skills. Children will love exploring the tactile feather pieces and returning them to their correct spaces, strengthening their spatial awareness and understanding of comparison, order and pattern. An ideal resource to explore the language of colour, shade and tone, this versatile puzzle also introduces early numeracy through sorting and counting. Many children will enjoy repeatedly placing the feathers in and out of their recess, encouraging hand-eye coordination and supporting schematic play patterns such as positioning. The feather pieces double as loose parts, extending play into creative, open-ended exploration. Set includes a baseboard and 22 feather pieces: three sizes in three shades of seven colours. Made from FSC-certified wood. Safe for age 12m+. Size 400 x 250mm. (15 3/4 x 10”)
