Geo Shape Outdoor Tracing Set

Transform your outdoor space into a hotspot for EYFS numeracy exploration with our Geo Shape Outdoor Tracing Set. It's more than just a pretty addition to your sand tray or numeracy corner—it's a multi-sensory gateway to building early maths skills, problem-solving, and reasoning. From the first trace to the final flourish, these durable 2D shapes will keep learners enthralled. Supervision is recommended, not just to keep things safe, but also because watching learners discover patterns and mathematical concepts is honestly pretty magical. This set of eight shapes takes tracing to the next level, giving learners the opportunity to refine their early years maths skills through tactile, engaging activities. Use felt balls, gems, or tiny sticks to line the shapes, or encourage them to gather natural resources for an added scavenger hunt twist. Set it up on a dedicated early years maths table, scatter them across the numeracy area, or pair them with mushroom number seats to create an irresistible early years maths station. Our Geo Shape Outdoor Tracing Set isn't just about early years foundation stage maths. It doubles as a brilliant resource for literacy and numeracy integration, allowing learners to develop those all-important fine motor skills while reinforcing mathematical concepts like counting and pattern recognition. And remember, maths is no problem when the shapes are this fun! (Unless you count forgetting your coffee somewhere in the outdoor area. That's a real “problem-solving” challenge.)
