Dig and Discover Ankylosaurus & Tyrannosaurus Rex

Budding fossil hunters will love these chunky, tactile skeleton pieces that fit together to create two iconic dinosaurs: the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex and the armoured Ankylosaurus. Crafted from a durable stone mix, these fossils are perfect to bury in sand or soil for children to dig up and assemble, developing observation, spatial reasoning, and critical thinking skills. The sizes, shapes and number of pieces per dinosaur build progression, providing two different, exciting challenges for children as they put them together. Ideal to engage curiosity and to extend knowledge, children will love to discuss their discoveries, comparing the skeletons, their diet, habitats and size. The raised bones offer excellent sensory feedback and make wonderful imprints in play dough. Suitable for ages 2+. Set contains two skeletons (4 and 5 pieces). Size: 220–260mm (8½–10”)
