Gustave Baumann: Cholla and Sahuaro - 500

Thoughtfully conceived and engagingly intricate, our 500-piece jigsaw puzzles combine superb color reproduction, stunning and unusual images, and sturdy construction to delight generations of novice and veteran puzzleworkers. “A towering saguaro cactus looms behind two blooming cholla cacti and a grouping of prickly pears in this brilliant evocation of the desert in spring. The first study for this print was made in the Sonoran Desert near Florence, Arizona, on March 25, 1927, and the next day Baumann finished a drawing in tempera that served as his guide for the carving of the six required color blocks.”
