Cheetah

Iconic for their blazing speed, cheetahs are the fastest land animal and can reach speeds of up to 70 mph. While they aren't as large or strong as other members of the big cat family, cheetahs are incredibly specialized and effective predators. History: Unlike many other large cats, cheetahs rarely show hostility towards humans and are known to be fairly sociable. Because of this, throughout history many different civilizations have seen and interacted with cheetahs, thus incorporating them into their folklore and art. Sadly, cheetahs have recently been classified as a vulnerable species due to a large influx of illegal poaching. Scientific Name: Acinonyx jubatus Characteristics: Known for their spotted pelt as well as their black facial markings, Safari Limited's expertly painted and true-to-life cheetah toy figurine captures the natural beauty of this incredible hunter. Although it's posed in the middle of a calm walk, cheetahs can accelerate up to 60 mph in 3 seconds flat! Size: 8 inches long and 4 inches tall, this cheetah toy figurine is a little longer than a No. 2 pencil and a bit taller than a credit card standing upright. The Cheetah is part of the Wild Wildlife collection. All of Safari Limited's products are Non-toxic and BPA free.
