13" Triceratops

Journey back to the age of dinosaurs with the Triceratops from Aurora's Dinos & Dragons collection. This plush captures the essence of one of the most recognizable prehistoric creatures with its vibrant purple and cream coloring, signature three horns, and a distinctive frill. The Triceratops was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 68 to 66 million years ago. It is easily recognized by its large bony frill at the back of its skull and its three facial horns - two long ones above the eyes and one shorter on the nose - which were likely used for defense and possibly for courtship displays. These dinosaurs had sturdy bodies and strong limbs and lived in what is now North America, roaming in herds. Their beaked mouths and rows of teeth were well adapted to shredding and eating tough, fibrous plants.
