Wavelength Party Game

2 - 12 players in two teams, 14 years & up A telepathic party game! The goal: set the dial's arm to the right or left depending on where you think the clue belongs between two opposites. But it isn't always as simple as hot or cold, you may be working with concepts like “need vs want,” “fad vs classic,” or “fantasy vs sci-fi.” Choose one player on your team to be the clue giver, aka The Psychic. They spin the wheel to randomize where the score wedges are, check to see, then hide them again. They announce the opposing concepts. Now for the clue! If you have the pairing of “need vs want” and the wedges are all the way to the left on the “need” side, you've *got* to give a clue like “Oxygen”. Clearly, that's a need! Will your team see it that way, too? Will they dial it in so you score? Once the dial position is set, the opposing team guesses if the scoring area is to the left or right of the dial. When the scoring wedges are revealed, if your team didn't place the dial in the scoring area, the other team can win points if they guessed the position correctly. It's a creative word game that has you considering topics like: Does cotton smell good? Is pizza a sandwich? How ugly is a baby kangaroo? Quick to learn and easy to play, this is a family-friendly party game that encourages communication!
