WSW Lioness with Cub

Wild Safari Wildlife Collection While it may look like this little cub has misbehaved, lionesses actually carry their young around in their mouths! Although the female is taking care of the cub right now, normally male lions watch over the young and deter predators while the females hunt. History: Important symbols in many cultures all around the world, lions are often used to symbolize strength and nobleness. Despite these representations, lions are considered vulnerable on the conservation status spectrum. While sanctuaries and preserves have been established to try and protect the remaining lion population, it's estimated that their numbers are dwindling by as much as 50% every 20 years. Scientific Name: Panthera leo Characteristics: Expertly painted and professionally sculpted for exceptional quality, this feline family would love to get out of the African heat and laze around in your living room. This lioness with cub toy figurine is exceptional as a display on your nightstand, desk, or mantle, as an educational tool, as a toy for creative play, or even a clever gift for a mother you know! Size: 6 inches long and 2.75 inches tall, this lioness with cub toy figurine is a bit larger than a soda can on its side.
