This modern take on "The Ant and the Grasshopper" celebrates the power of coming together in times of need. Winter is quickly approaching in the forest and everyone is preparing for hibernation, except Badger, who is looking for something to do in the cold months ahead. After searching in people town, Badger finds the Twist-a-Roo - with shapes that flash and splash! The perfect thing to make her den colorful. But when the snow starts to settle, Badger's cupboard is bare - the colorful shapes can't fill her belly. Then someone comes knocking... From Kathy Doherty with enchanting illustrations from Kristyna Litten, this cuddly tale is sure to delight little ones. Hardcover. Suggested ages 4-8.
