This specially designed chess set contains all you need to learn and play the game of chess. The quarter-fold sturdy chess board shows exactly where to place your pieces when setting up a new game. Diagrams on the ends of the board show how each piece is moved and how to capture opponent's pieces. Refer to it often during game play to reinforce the basics as you make your moves. The plastic chess pieces are classic Staunton style and are tournament sized. So, when you know the game and are ready to move to the tournament level of play, the pieces will go with you.
