Build, code, and play with your very own robotic reptile with the Thames & Kosmos My Robotic Pet Coding Chameleon ! This hands-on robotics and coding STEM kit for kids combines model building, programming, sensors, and animal-inspired engineering into one seriously cool robotic pet. Once assembled, the chameleon responds to its environment using a color sensor, infrared sensor, and RGB LEDs . Kids can explore three different play modes. In Coding Mode, use the included action cards to program sequences of movements without needing a phone, tablet, or computer. Wild Mode lets the chameleon react to its surroundings, change color, and use its moving tongue, while Pet Mode creates an interactive robotic companion that responds to commands and touch.
