GeckoBot 2.0

This hands-on construction kit brings engineering and physics to life as it demonstrates the power of air pressure at work. Students will build a motorized, multi-legged, robotic gecko with suction cup feet and an innovative gear system that can crawl up, down, and all around smooth vertical surfaces! They'll learn about its inner mechanisms including an electric circuit complete with motor, battery, and switch, then experiment to see which types of surfaces the Geckobot can climb best, read about how suction cups work, and how this robot climbs. A 16-page, full-color manual guides your model building with step-by-step illustrated instructions. Ages: 8+ Experiments: 1 Pieces: 103 Manual pages: 16 Requires 1 AAA battery, sold separately.
