Orren Mixer Ideal Pinto

The seventh model in The Ideal Series, inspired by the art of Western artist Orren Mixer and his famed “Ideal” horse paintings, is The Ideal Series – Pinto (#B-TR-10669). Pintos – horses with large white patches on their coats – can be found in a variety of breeds, and the Pinto Horse Association of America has registered over 160,000 since its incorporation in 1956. The painting “Pinto” was commissioned by the PtHA from Mixer in the year 2000 and showcases the variety of breed types and disciplines pinto horses can be found in. This model takes inspiration from the stately bay pinto American Saddlebred found on the right hand side of the painting.
