This kneeling figure of a beggar may accompany St Martin in recreating his legend, but his uses go far beyond this tale! He can be a poor shepherd for a Nativity scene, a beggar at the gates of the castle or a hermit in his woodland cave. The Ostheimer beggar's arms are movable. Ostheimer Figures are hand-crafted in Germany. The wood used in Ostheimer toys comes from sustainable domestic forestry. Each product is a unique item individually shaped with love and care. Thus, the Ostheimer Waldorf toys allow children to immerse themselves into the vivid imaginative world of play.
