A peaceful nighttime moment unfolds in Stellar Night, a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle featuring a New Yorker magazine cover illustrated by Mark Ulriksen, originally published on April 4, 2022. In the scene, a couple strolls through a park, pausing to take in the illuminated New York City skyline shimmering in the distance. Inspired by Ulriksen's first visit to New York—including a midnight ferry ride to Staten Island—the artwork captures the awe and quiet magic of seeing the city lit up at night. The composition balances intimacy and scale, with the couple grounded in the foreground while the skyline stretches beyond, glowing with life and possibility. Ulriksen's painterly style brings warmth and softness to the scene, inviting you to slow down and take in each detail as the puzzle comes together. Perfect for fans of The New Yorker, romantic cityscapes, and NYC at night, Stellar Night offers a calming, immersive puzzling experience and a finished image that feels both personal and iconic.
