Thames And Kosmos Plasma Ball

Plasma Ball : A glass sphere filled with a mixture of noble gases, such as neon or argon, at low pressure. Inside the sphere, there is a high-frequency electrode that generates an electric field. Interactive Display : When the Plasma Ball is turned on, the electric field inside the sphere interacts with the gases, creating colorful tendrils of plasma that extend from the electrode to the glass surface. These tendrils respond to touch and sound, making it an interactive display. Demonstrates Principles of Plasma Physics : The Plasma Ball illustrates concepts such as ionization, electric fields, and the behavior of plasma, which is the fourth state of matter. It provides a hands-on way to explore these scientific principles. Educational Tool : Suitable for both children and adults, the Plasma Ball serves as an educational tool for learning about electricity a
