Smithsonian Prehistoric Sea Monsters

Smithsonian Prehistoric Sea Monsters Bring a prehistoric species back to life in your own home. This kit lets kids hatch and raise Triops, tiny crustaceans whose ancestors swam the Earth's waters more than 220 million years ago. Under the right conditions, the eggs spring to life within days, growing to more than 20 times their original size. With an aquarium, sand, background scene, and a full-color poster, the kit offers a fascinating look at how some creatures have survived virtually unchanged since the time of the dinosaurs. It's a hands-on way to connect with Earth's distant past. ⚠ Warning: Choking Hazard – Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.
