Gibson USA Victory Floyd Rose - Iguana Burst

The Interstellar Tone Traveler remembers when the original Gibson Victory landed in the early 80s — a bold, double-cutaway statement from a company that wasn't afraid to chase the decade's hunger for speed, sustain, and stage presence. The 2024 reintroduction quickly became one of the most talked-about guitars in the modern Gibson lineup, but players spoke up almost immediately with one clear request: add a Floyd Rose. Gibson listened. The Victory Floyd Rose arrives with everything that made the updated Victory a hit — AA figured maple top over mahogany, SlimTaper neck, ebony fingerboard, zebra-bobbin 80's Tribute humbuckers — and adds the Floyd Rose locking vibrato system that the shred-approved crowd has been asking for. Finished in Iguana Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, with that deep green-to-amber burst highlighting the figured maple top in a way that feels simultaneously vintage and completely modern, this guitar looks as good as it plays.<
