Martin 000-28 Standard Series Acoustic Guitar - Natural Aged Toner

The Interstellar Tone Traveler has learned through countless journeys that the difference between two instruments can sometimes be measured in fractions of an inch — and yet those fractions can mean everything. The 000-28 and its long-scale sibling the OM-28 share the same Style 28 lineage, the same rosewood and spruce pairing, the same bold herringbone trim and abalone appointments — but the 000-28's 24.9" short scale transforms the experience in ways that players feel immediately and profoundly. Lower string tension means a warmer, rounder response with more give beneath the fingers, a tone that pulls inward rather than projecting outward, inviting the kind of intimate, nuanced playing that the 000 body was born to reward. This is the scale length associated with some of the most storied fingerstyle performances in acoustic music history, and for good reason: the short scale and Auditorium body together
