Schleich Color Changing Starfish #14902

With its five arms and velvety surface, the starfish looks like a little treasure from the seabed. Its basic color is yellow, but it can change depending on the environment and temperature – sometimes reddish, sometimes bluish, sometimes sand-colored. This means it is well camouflaged in the coral reef and safe from predators. The starfish lies very still on the seabed. Its yellow color makes it hard to spot on the sand. The perfect camouflage from its enemies, such as fish and sea turtles. A turtle is swimming past. She comes dangerously close to him. Perhaps she has discovered him after all. Well, what's that? Suddenly the starfish changes colour and is now dangerously red. The turtle doesn't dare to approach and prefers to keep swimming. The starfish is a quick-change artist and can change colour. Well done!
