Scanimation Book | Gallop

Discover the magic of Scanimation in Gallop, where pages burst into motion before your eyes! Using a patented six-phase animation technique that layers striped overlays with vibrant artwork, each spread showcases animals in action—a galloping horse, swimming turtle, sprinting dog, leaping cat, soaring eagle, and fluttering butterfly. Created by inventor and artist Rufus Butler Seder, this innovative picture book combines the wonder of vintage optical toys with modern artistry. Paired with playful rhyming text full of silly questions and delightful answers, Gallop transforms reading into an interactive experience that captivates kids and adults alike. Watch the animals come alive with every flip of the page—no screen required!
